VTAEYC is excited to offer the Vermont Early Learning Standards Training Series.
VELS Introduction and Overview: This session will first introduce participants to the Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS) and review the definition, purpose, and use of VELS in the context of developmentally appropriate best practices. Through discussion and small group activities, we will begin to identify practical tools for planning and discuss strategies for implementing and assessing developmentally appropriate learning experiences using the VELS.
