Trainer: Morgan Leichter-Saxby, VTAEYC Exchange Fellow for “Our Communities”
Description: Morgan and a special guest will be bringing additional skills and resources that participants might apply elsewhere, with both presenters taking turns in guiding conversation and inviting participants to try new skills. The proposed themes found below reflect aspects of children’s play that are often underserved, especially mess, physical and socio-emotional risk. These sessions are intended to help participants make and share reflective connections between personal and professional experiences. 1) Building with mud cob (glass bottle wall) 2) Foraging plants (edible, medicinal, dye) 3) Fire (kindling, tending, extinguishing) 4) Performance and voice (costume, character, song)
