Description:
Fragmented, inconsistent, under-resourced – early childhood education exists in a situation of difficult current realities. It is time to envision and build toward a different future.
In this two-hour Northern Lights-approved professional development online real-time training, participants will deepen and extend their understanding of the workforce-led efforts to advance as a recognized, cohesive profession in Vermont.
Key components of this session include: what defines a profession, the national effort to create a unifying framework to serve as a blueprint for states, and VTAEYC\’s multi-year initiative to authentically engage the early childhood education workforce in shaping a direction for the future of the profession.
