This topic will focus on the importance of social-emotional development in early childhood, exploring effective practices and interventions that caregivers and educators can implement to promote secure attachments. Discussions will include:

  • Understanding the principles of attachment theory
  • Strategies for creating nurturing environments
  • Activities that encourage emotional expression and regulation
  • The role of family engagement in fostering healthy relationships
  • Resources and support available for educators and families

This topic aims to equip participants with practical tools and knowledge to enhance their approach to supporting the emotional well-being of infants and toddlers across the state.

This training will be followed by a statewide network meeting which will include sharing about community resources, whats happening around the field and a time for group discussion.
