Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Training) followed by the Infant and Toddler Statewide Network from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
This topic will focus on the importance of social-emotional development in early childhood, exploring effective practices and interventions that caregivers and educators can implement to promote secure attachments. Discussions will include:
- Understanding the principles of attachment theory
- Strategies for creating nurturing environments
- Activities that encourage emotional expression and regulation
- The role of family engagement in fostering healthy relationships
- Resources and support available for educators and families
This topic aims to equip participants with practical tools and knowledge to enhance their approach to supporting the emotional well-being of infants and toddlers across the state.
This training will be followed by a statewide network meeting which will include sharing about community resources, whats happening around the field and a time for group discussion.
