Current developmental theory, based on mountainous piles of research, confirms that nurturing relationships and responsive interactions are the quality markers of effective learning environments for our youngest children. During this training, we will explore the Toddler Classroom Assessment Scoring System, or CLASS, tool to better understand how we can make more meaningful connections with the toddlers within our care. Participants will examine specific CLASS domains, dimensions and indicators, explore simple ways to incorporate learning interactions throughout the day, and discuss practices that foster positive growth and development for these young children.
Each participant will receive CLASS Dimensions overview for infant, toddlers, & pre-school.
