Was your program or the families in your care impacted by the devastating flooding this week? VTAEYC wants to offer information and resources to support you and we will continue to share information as it becomes available.
The State of Vermont has created a page titled Vermont Flood Resources Guide to enable Vermonters to navigate important things to do and available resources in one initial stop.
These other organizations have direct supports available and can provide additional information for you and your families:
- Flood Damage – Business Form: Vermont 211 needs to collect details about damage to your business in order to help the state apply for the FEMA Individual Assistance Program.
- Vermont 211: This site and phone number can be used to report flood damage, get information on shelters for people affected by the storm, register with FEMA, and access recovery resources
- The Vermont Chamber of Commerce:Â They are offering to connect you with resources and communicate needs with state and federal agencies.
- Flood Ready Vermont
- Vermont Emergency Management
You can also check out and share with families these national resources for coping with disasters.
